A milestone!

Adeline has reached a new milestone this morning. She has officially rolled over!! She was playing on her tummy and attempting to reach for a toy with her right hand...and over she went! I think it startled her at first, but when I smiled and clapped, she did it again and laughed.

What's new...

Adeline is now 3 months old and is so much fun! She smiles, laughs and coos at her mommy and daddy and is starting to bat at her toys. She has found those hands and fingers and they are ALWAYS in her mouth! She is also holding her toys and mouthing them. We think she may roll over soon, because her legs are very strong. She is definitely a little squirmer.

We go back to the pediatrician at the end of December. Adeline will have her first taste of rice cereal as we begin the new year! We are excited about our little girl's first Christmas. I'm sure we will have much more to share then!

Welcome!

So, I finally decided to create a blog to keep everyone (especially our family) up to date with Adeline. For those of you who may be visiting and don't know Miss Adeline...she is our precious baby girl. She was born August 23, 2007 (6 lbs 2oz) and beautiful of course! I week after we got her home, I noticed something was wrong with her and rushed her to the emergency room at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital. We were there for 2 weeks and she was diagnosed with Supra Ventricular Tachycardia (SVT) which is a heart arrhythmia. She is now home on 2 different meds and doing fantastic. She will stay on her meds until she is a year old. At that point the cardiologist will see if she has outgrown the SVT. Adeline is now in physical therapy for a little Torticollis she developed from her hospital stay. We expect her to be fully recovered from that very soon.

Adeline is now 3 months old and weighs a little over 11 pounds! She has cute little chubby cheeks and is a very sweet, easy going baby. We enjoy every minute with her. She is our extra special, precious bundle of joy! We are so blessed to have her with us as we journey through parenthood!
